Frank Ocean last week surprised fans (again) when he dropped his new track “Chanel” on the latest episode of his Beats 1 show, Blonded. In case you haven’t been playing the track on repeat since it came out, it references the French fashion house with the line, “I see both sides like Chanel.” The brand obviously liked the shout out. Yesterday, Chanel posted two cryptic messages to their Instagram with the captions “We see both sides like Frank Ocean. #YouKnowMeAndYouDont #FrankOcean #CHANEL” causing us to wonder if there’s a collaboration in the making. This wouldn’t be the first time Ocean has worked with the fashion world. Back when we were still wondering if he would release an album at all, he appeared in Calvin Klein’s FW16 campaign.
